“Architect” defined:

The root of the word architect breaks down into “chief” or “master” (arkhi) and “builder” (tekton). Archi and tekton come from the ancient Greek language, which originated as far back as 3,000 BC.

The Architect’s true heritage is that of Master Builder—a legacy nearly lost in today’s industry.

“A modern, harmonic and lively architecture is the visible sign of an authentic democracy.”

– Walter Gropius

“If your contribution has been vital there will always be somebody to pick up where you left off, and that will be your claim to immortality.”

– Walter Gropius

If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.

— Booker T. Washington

“A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good, just because it's accepted by a majority.”.”

— Booker T. Washington

Lifting Spirits With Spaces

“I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my house.

The quality of work that NEDC does is exceptional…Proof of that is we started with the deck outside, and when we needed bathroom renovations we asked David back. In addition to that he also redesigned the front of our house. He has done work for us on three different occasions—if we ever had to do anything again we would definitely ask him back for the fourth time.

I wouldn’t actually trust anybody else with my house…

Every project that David has done has contributed to us making us love the house even more.

David lifts spirits with spaces. He has a unique ability to see where there is room for improvement and he has a vision for how it can be improved.

He likes to work with light—he likes to work with natural materials. His vision to improve a space to make it more liveable—it’s very unique.”
